At Church of The Way, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. Our ministries come in all shapes and sizes. Please come and join us for worship.
Children's Ministry
Children's ministry at our church brings the joy of Jesus Christ to young hearts, fostering an atmosphere where learning is a delightful experience. Our aim is to create a loving and enjoyable environment for children of all ages. Every Sunday at 10:30 am, we offer engaging activities tailored for different age groups. Additionally, nursery services are available during all Sunday morning services.
Small Group Facilitator
At CTW we believe that discipleship cannot take place from the pulpit, but can be done well in small group communities that focus on Bible studies, and other life-issue small groups. We train facilitators to lead their small group, and provide monthly coaching sessions via Zoom.
Men's Ministry
The Men's Ministry, known as the Band of Brothers, offers a platform for men to gather, engage in worship, and actively participate in community outreach. Our focus extends to various events, including prayer breakfasts, where our aim is not just personal growth in faith but also fostering robust connections within our circle and the broader community. Our gatherings are periodically scheduled throughout the year, and detailed meeting information is available online for easy access.
Women's Ministry
The Women of Excellence, our women's ministry, offers occasions for women to unite in worship and engage in community outreach. From insightful bible studies to enriching retreats, our focus remains on nurturing spiritual growth and cultivating meaningful relationships within our circle and the wider community. The Women's ministry gathers periodically throughout the year, and you can find the meeting schedules conveniently posted online.
Praise & Worship
Singers are always welcomed to our worship team. If you have a good singing voice (not because mom said so,...but), we would love to have you join our team. Rehearsals are every Thursday from 6pm to 7pm. The vision statement is to "worship God in spirit & truth," and to assist in leading the congregation in praise & worship.
Musicians
Our musical worshippers are made up of "on-fire" Christians that give their instruments over to God as weapons of spiritual warfare. Rehearsals are every Thursday from 6pm to 7pm, with the Praise & Worship team. The vision statement is to "worship God in spirit & truth," through contemporary melody and anointed music, and to glorify God with a joyful noise.
Outreach Team
CTW is currently feeding families in the community every third Saturday of the month (unless otherwise stated). We pray for any soul needing mediation & prayer, give out Bibles and biblical literature, and encourage community folks with love, care, and hope. We also chose various weekends to visit homes and pass out literature about our Lord & His local mission, Church of The Way.
Sound Room Ministry
At CTW we have three major areas of technology during worship services. Sound (we use a digital board with four sections of monitors), Lighting (we use LED lights on the platform and around the church), and Video (we broadcast on Social Media and use a video platform to live stream on YouTube & FaceBook). Interested members of the church are trained and released into ministry.
Usher Ministry
Members of the church are encouraged to take the role of Usher. They are responsible for church order, greeting guests, collecting tithes & offerings for those that do not use the online giving platform, and showing guests around the campus.
Cafe Connect
From 9:45 am to 10:15 am our coffee ministry is open, with complimentary coffee & pastries. The front of the church is set up with tables and chairs, and electrical receptacles for charging phones. Some folks prefer to sit inside the church building, at the rear of the sanctuary, where we have tables and chairs set up. You can hear music, fellowship, & enjoy a continental breakfast. We are always looking for help in this ministry.
Buildings & Grounds
This team is in action every second Saturday of the month (unless otherwise stated) to clean the buildings and ground, do minor repairs, small paint jobs, & caring for the sanctuary building. Whatever needs to get done, i.e., changing A/C filters and filters from our air purifiers (which are in every room and building on campus), etc.
Coming Soon! G.L.O.W. Youth Ministry
We are currently seeking a Spirit filled young adult (or young married couple) to come on board with us and help us establish a youth ministry. We currently have over 60 adolescents in our Middle & High School, and only a few attend our church. It is a mission field, and we are praying for a person to come on board (paid staff).
