God’s Sovereignty

Moses once asked God to show him His glory. God replied: “I will make all My goodness pass before you & will proclaim before you My name ‘The Lord.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, & will show mercy on whom I will show mercy” (Ex 33:19). What’s the bottom line? Sovereignty! God gives His grace & mercy to whomever He pleases.

How does the sovereignty of God affect the Christian walk? Why does it seem as if God is not fair, since He makes us a certain way, and then holds us accountable for godly things that we cannot obtain? What is the difference between God’s justice & God’s grace? These are the issues covered in this sermon.
