The Word is Life & Light

John 1:4-18 details the greatest Christmas narrative ever told. The Son of God, who was not created, but who created all things and holds all things together (Col 1:16-17), took on flesh (suited up and jumped in the game). What does this Word-Made-Flesh have for us? He has life & light. He gives life to whom ever He will (John 5:21). It was necessary for this Savior to become flesh (John 1:14) in order to receive our punishment, so that in return we can be given both life and light. We live in Christ and we see the glory of Christ. Don’t miss this sermon.
