Rose Moreno
I am Rosa Moreno, and along with my husband John, we embraced Jesus as our Lord and Savior two and a half decades ago in New York. Our journey led us to retire to Florida fourteen years back, yet it became clear that one never truly retires from serving the Lord’s purpose.
Since joining CTW in 2010, I have found profound fulfillment in serving within various capacities. Initially drawn to the Welcome Center, I eagerly greet visitors and prepare welcome packets for newcomers. Additionally, I am actively involved in CTW’s Food Pantry Initiative, collaborating with Outreach efforts to offer sustenance both physically and spiritually to those in need.
Within the Women’s Ministry, I extend care through sending birthday, get-well, and encouragement cards to our members, as well as making visits to the Shut-Ins who are unable to attend services. Workday holds special significance for me, as it underscores the importance of maintaining the sacred space where we gather to worship, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.
Furthermore, I occasionally serve as an Usher, offering personal greetings to newcomers. And, I have a fervent desire to nurture others in their faith journey, leading a small group named “Unshackled”, where we foster fellowship, spiritual enrichment, and joyful exploration of our faith.
