Today’s message is a bridge back to biblical values & principles, which outline the purpose and format of the true church – the people of God. How has the quarantine helped the biblical mandate of the church’s mission? How has your fellowship been? How has your accountability been? How has your ministry vision been shaped & sharpened? Are we to accept a new un-biblical format of church just because social media and technology has given us a tool to stay connected through temporary dependence on a method that avoids person-to-person ministry? It’s time to take a biblical stance on what church is & what our mission is per Jesus Christ in His Word. We must turn around & cross over those bridges that take us back to what God says – not what your gut says, not what your favorite news cast says, not what the newspapers say, and not what your political party says! We are Christians; our Master is Jesus Christ (not Caesar); and our marching orders are the Holy Bible – all 66 books. Our trajectory is off. Our compass needs recalibrating. We must remain true north. Lord take us over those bridges back to your protocol for the people of God.
Amen! We need you dear Lord, take us back over those bridges, the people of God to do your will as you have ordered us in your word. Amen!
I always wondered how people go to the store, malls, out to eat, and many other places using a mask, staying 6 feet apart, and using hand sanitizer, but when it came to going to church – the same people had a problem. Thanks to you, Pastor, for hearing the word of God and sending out this message. Everyone on this planet needs to hear it!! Looking forward to having worship in person. God Bless.
